Privacy Policy
What does Gammazon use your personal information for?

Gammazon asks for your name, address, email address, and other personal information when you make an online purchase. This information is used to process your orders and to allow us to communicate with you.

Does Gammazon share the personal information it receives?

Gammazon is not in the business of selling customer information to others. Users' specific personal information is not currently sold or rented.

Gammazon reserves the right to co-operate with local, provincial and national officials in any investigation requiring either personal information -- including any personal information provided online through gammazon.com -- or reports about lawful or unlawful user activities on the Web Site.

Secure Transactions

Gammazon has adopted physical and technological processes and procedures to keep your personal information safe and secure. The personal information you provide when you establish an account or place an order is secured using Secure Socket Layers ("SSL") encryption technology. Gammazon uses this SSL technology to prevent such information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet to our own servers. Only when it reaches the Gammazon servers is your information decrypted and then stored on restricted access computers located at restricted access sites. We reveal only a portion of your credit card number when confirming an order.

Protecting Transactions by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

To find out if your transaction is guarded by SSL, look for the picture of the unbroken key or closed lock in your browser window (both the Netscape Navigator/Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers use SSL). Either indicator means SSL is hard at work. (If you don't see either one, or if you see a broken key or an open lock, that means SSL is definitely not hard at work protecting your transaction.)

The easy way, you can tell if SSL is guarding your transaction is to check the URL of the site you are visiting. It should change from "http" to "https" when processing secure transactions. For example, when you start to send your bank card and other data to them, you can choose to use a secure server. If you select that, you'll notice that the URL will change from:

http://www.gammazon.com/
to
https://nt7.magma.ca/gammazon/

Does Gammazon use "Cookies"?

Yes, but the cookie is not stored on your computer. The cookie information is used when performing your on-line shopping and will only last as long as the browser is open. If you close the browser, the cookie information is destroyed.
